In early 2020, with people stuck on their couches, Wieden + Kennedy NY created an experimental social agency called BODEGA. Our first project was to remake McDonaldโ€™s social channels, injecting them with humor, culture, and internet weirdness.

During my two years with BODEGA, we brought Grimace out of retirement, collabed with BTS, J Balvin, and Travis Scott, relaunched the McRib, created an unhinged tone of voice, made the social media manager a central character to the plot, and tested the limit of what a brand could actually get away with. Hereโ€™s a sizzle reel of some of that work.
