1000 DAYS OF SYRIA is a first-of-its-kind electric literature newsgame that timelines the first 1000 days of the Syrian uprising. All of the storylines are based on my field reporting from Syria and the rest of the Middle East during the Arab Spring. Since its release in 2014, the game has been played by over a million people worldwide.
“...with a certain degree of agency, empathy and connection is built in a different way to linear media such as film and literature.”
